Port Stanley Overview

Port Stanley offers a unique lifestyle, a quaint village with a working harbour, fishing industry, and year-round tourist trade. Popular with recreational boaters and sailboats from southwestern Ontario and the US, Port Stanley offers marinas, shopping, dining, culture, recreation, and two beaches on the north shore of Lake Erie.

The proximity between Toronto and Detroit makes it convenient to a very large population base, and the village is only a short distance from St. Thomas & London. Health facilities, employment opportunities, fine restaurants, boutiques, and realistic property values make Port Stanley a very desireable destination for people moving from outside of the region.

Port Stanley offers two very desireable kinds of property - lake front and lake view, in the form of freestanding home or condominium, and properties that offer easy access to the beaches and village amenities, but without a lake or harbour view. Port Stanley also offers a new, upper-end subdivision, Little Creek.

The higher-end properties that demonstrate lakefront or lakeview are in strong demand due to the limited supply of these homes. In fact, many of those properties will stay in families for many years and are not always readily available to the market.
